Currently Chic Sugars does not have a public location.  Chic Sugars is a private custom cakery.  All of my creations are custom made cakes that are baked and decorated no more than 2 days before the event.

At this time, I only offer consultations for weddings or events with a budget exceeding $800.   For all other events,  I offer an sample package, which consists of 2 flavor combos of your choice, which is overnight via UPS.  The cost for this is $35.   The sample package is included with purchases* over $400.

Chic Sugars only creates custom cakes, cupcakes, and cookies.  These are specially made for you and your event.  The minimum order is $250, which, will generally  yield about 30 servings, but that greatly depends on the final design of cake.  For more info please see my price list.

I generally do most of my communications with my clients through e-mail or over the phone.  If you choose to do the tasting and/or sample package, we will coordinate that.  If a client chooses not to do a tasting/sample package, we will speak over the phone or via e-mail in order to come up with the design for the cake.  Once we have a good direction to go in for the cake, if needed,  I will sketch the design and e-mail it to the client, so that we can see what it is going to look like.  Once we have a design, a final price is quoted.  If we are all in agreement about the details, I will draft a contract and e-mail that to my client. This contract can be e-signed.  I will also e-mail an invoice, which can be paid online.  This process can take anywhere from a few hours to a week.

Good Question!!  I always recommend that my clients place their orders as soon as possible.  I am generally booked out as far as 8 weeks in advance.  I work alone, so I only accept 4-5 orders per week!!  My weeks tend to  fill up pretty fast.  A date is not reserved until a 50% non-refundable retainer and signed contract are received.

Chic Sugars sends out invoices via e-mail, which allows them to be paid online via PayPal (with or without an account) or Google Checkout.  Or if a client prefers they can print out the invoice and send in a check or money order, if time permits.

Chic Sugars is located in Astoria.  I deliver within the Tri-State area (NY, NJ, CT). The delivery rates are based on total driving time from my location to the event. The delivery fees are flat rates that range from $45 (within 30 minutes of Manhattan) to $235 (central CT).  Please call or e-mail for for a specific location.
